Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept the following methods of payment:

By credit or debit card either Visa, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch), Electron,
   Delta or JCB.

By cheque, in the checkout select 'Place order & forward cheque by post'
   then click next and print the order so you can use it to forward to us
   with your cheque made payable to 'Western Towing'. To allow your cheque
   to clear, delivery may take up to 10 days from receipt of cheque.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.

We are currently only accepting orders from the UK. Please feel free to contact us for more information

Shipping And Handling
Carriage is free* over £45.00 including vat, orders under £45.00 are charged at £3.99 including vat (£3.33 + vat) and will be added to your order value at the checkout. *subject to the areas listed below

UK MAINLAND
All orders will either be sent by FIRST CLASS POST, INTERLINK EXPRESS or FedEX on an overnight (next working day) a signature is required to take delivery, if no one is available to sign then a card will be left so that you can contact the delivering depot to arrange another delivery or collect.

SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS
(Postcodes: AB30 to 38, AB44 to 56, FK17 to 99, G83, IV1 to 28, IV30 to 39, IV52 to 54, IV63, KW1 to 14, PA21 to 40, PH18 to 26, PH30 to 41 and PH49 to 50)

Orders up to 2 kg will either be sent by FIRST CLASS POST or ROYAL MAIL STANDARD PARCELS which could take up to 5 working days. Orders over 2kg in total will require an additional carriage charge, please contact us for further details.

ISLE OF MAN, SCOTTISH ISLANDS, ISLE OF WIGHT and NORTHERN IRELAND.
Orders up to 2 kg will either be sent by FIRST CLASS POST or ROYAL MAIL STANDARD PARCELS which could take up to 5 working days. Orders over 2kg in total will require an additional carriage charge, please contact us for further details.

CHANNEL ISLANDS
Orders under 2kg will either be sent by FIRST CLASS POST or ROYAL MAIL STANDARD PARCELS which could take up to 5 working days. *Due to changes in Royal Mail Parcels policy orders over 2kg are classed as International Parcels and are subject to an additional carriage charge which is dependent on weight. Please contact before ordering or place you order and we will contact you, if you are then not happy with the additional carriage you will be able to cancel.

Delivery Schedule
Orders recieved during a normal working day (i.e not Saturday or Sunday) will either be dispatched that day or the next working day. Should we be unable to do this we will contact you either by email or telephone to inform you as to when the goods can be sent and giving you the option to cancel if the anticipated delivery is unacceptable.

All items posted by First Class Royal Mail should be received within 5 days. However, Royal Mail indicate that an item is not classed as lost until 15 working days from date of despatch. We cannot offer a refund or send items again until these 15 working days have expired.

Items sent by Overnight Courier should arrive within 24 hours of despatch, although sometimes, due to extenuating circumstances, it may take 48 hours for items to reach their destination. If you have not received your goods by 72 hours after date of despatch please contact us on 01392 216336 where we will track and trace the item.

Please note couriers will only hold items for 7 days from date of attempted delivery before the items are returned to us. If items are returned we reserve the right to charge for redelivery.

All dates given are subject to stock availability.

Please note we do not process payment until the goods are ready for dispatch.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
We only accept orders from the UK. For orders made from the UK , 20% VAT is included.

Credit Card Security
Western Towing takes security of payment card data extremely seriously. This is why all of our online payments are handled through Actinic Payments.

Nobody in our organisation ever has access to your card details. We are only ever supplied with the type of card that you placed your purchase with, and the last 4 digits of your credit card.

How this works
The website becomes secure once you have confirmed your order in the 'Checkout' page. You are immediately redirected to a 'Secure Actinic Payment Form' where you enter your card details. This is a secure payment page.

Returns Policy
INCORRECTLY ORDERED/UNWANTED GOODS

In the event that an item is ordered and it does not meet your requirements we will accept the item as a return so long as the item is returned to us in the same condition as it was despatched.

Please contact us either by email to shop@westerntowing.co.uk or on 01392 216336 within 7 days of despatch of goods. You will then be given a unique returns code which must be included on any paperwork enclosed with the returned items. We will then discuss with you the options of returning the items and how much credit you will receive for the returned items. You will then have 30 days from date of despatch to return the items to us at your own cost.

FAULTY/DAMAGED/MISSING GOODS

If goods should be received and they are damaged or faulty or items are missing from your consignment please contact us either by email to shop@westerntowing.co.uk or on 01392 216336 within 7 days of despatch of the goods. You will then be given a unique returns code which must be included on any paperwork enclosed with the returned items. We will then discuss with you the options available for returning the items.

If goods are not reported damaged or faulty and returned to us without a returns code we reserve the right to not pay the carriage costs incurred.
